Cindy is a 5th year medical students at the University of Gothenburg. She, together with Jagoda Maszke-Get, is a co-founder of the “Menstrual Project”. In January 2018 they went to India as IIMC volunteers to initiate the project. Cindy and Jagoda strive for the “Menstrual Project” to become sustainable by incorporating the MACHA volunteers into the project. Together with the volunteers they aim to develop the project and spread the knowledge about menstruation among young boys and girls that are connected to IIMC. In the autumn of 2018 they will be conducting research about menstrual knowledge amongst girls in Peru to widen their knowledge regarding girls’ insight and awareness about this important subject.
